Dr. Nick Valeri - Orthodontist
Dr. Nick Valeri is an orthodontist and founder of Valeri Orthodontics, dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of patients throughout southeastern Wisconsin. He believes that a healthy, confident smile can have a powerful impact on a person’s confidence, personality, and overall quality of life.
Dr. Valeri is a lifelong resident of Kenosha and takes pride in serving the same communities he grew up in, including Pleasant Prairie, Oak Creek, Racine, and surrounding areas.
Education & Training
Dr. Valeri is a graduate of Tremper High School in Kenosha and was accepted into the highly competitive Pre-Dental Scholars Program at Marquette University in Milwaukee. He graduated first in his class with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences.
He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry, graduating magna cum laude in 2011. Following dental school, Dr. Valeri completed a two-year orthodontic residency at Marquette University, where he received advanced specialty training in orthodontics.
Technology & Continuing Education
Dr. Valeri is committed to lifelong learning and continually pursues advanced continuing education to stay at the forefront of modern orthodontics. He regularly attends national conferences and studies current scientific research to provide the most effective, evidence-based treatments available.
His clinical expertise includes traditional braces, clear braces, Invisalign, Angel Aligners, 3D printing, and digital scanning — allowing him to deliver highly customized and efficient orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults.
Community Involvement
Dr. Valeri is deeply invested in giving back to the community. Valeri Orthodontics proudly runs the Troops to Troops Program, sending Girl Scout Cookies to U.S. military members overseas, and the Adopt-a-Yeti Program, which provides complimentary orthodontic treatment for children who have battled cancer.
The practice also sponsors numerous local charities, youth programs, and school activities throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
Dr. Meghan O'Connell - Orthodontist
Dr. Meghan O’Connell, a Kenosha native, is thrilled to bring her dental expertise back to her hometown. A University of Wisconsin graduate with degrees in biology and business, she earned her dental degree from Marquette University. During dental school, she joined the Army through a Health Professions Scholarship, becoming an officer and completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Fort Benning, GA.
Dr. O’Connell practiced dentistry at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and even deployed to Iraq to provide care to soldiers. Later, she pursued her orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville, earning a Master’s in Dentistry and a Certificate in Orthodontics. She continued her military service as an orthodontist at Joint Base San Antonio, focusing on severe malocclusions and mentoring residents.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and member of several professional organizations, Dr. O’Connell is passionate about creating beautiful smiles. After a decade in the Army, she’s excited to serve her community. In her free time, she enjoys family time with her husband and kids, Claire and Ethan, traveling, and cheering for WI sports and the Louisville Cardinals.
